Yiren (Chelsea) Wang

Yiren Wang received her bachelor’s degree from Western University in Canada and her M.Sc. in Finance from Simon Fraser University. Currently, she is a Ph.D. student in Finance at the Beedie School of Business, Simon Fraser University.
Yiren Wang’s research focuses on informed trading, market microstructure, and information transmission in financial markets. Her current work examines political information shocks and their effects on trading activity and price discovery, with particular interest in options markets and crypto markets.
